To take the survey, go to ISSP Competency Study Survey. 2010 Price Increase for Distance LearningThe low prices we set for our distance learning courses to establish the program are sun setting at the end of the year. But we will honor the 2009 prices until December 31! So if you register in advance, you will save money. November Member Meeting: ReFraming Sustainability
Friday November 13 12:00pm Pacific TimeJoin your fellow members via teleconference to discuss the topic of "Reframing Sustainability." Recent elections and national debates about topics such as health care, welfare and the war in the Middle East has taught us how influential language is in the way we describe issues and our positions on them. In this November meeting we will explore "framing" and how those of us in the field of sustainability might better use it to forward the cause. How can sustainability be "reframed" so it moves away from a fringe movement and resonates with more of the public? If reframed, how could sustainability make sense to powerful constituencies like congress, big business, the faith community, and others? Join us for this online conversation. Meet other ISSP members and share your perspective. ISSP member meetings are offered FREE of charge to members only and conducted via our conference line. Contact Marsha Willard to register for the meeting.
