What an exciting time of year! The days are getting noticeably shorter, chilly air greets the mornings, and kids are stocking up on new clothes, shoes, and pencils for the school year. With Labor Day weekend upon us, this is our last chance to throw the kids in the car for a good old-fashioned family "car ride" before the wave of the school year carries us completely out of summer and on to more weightier pursuits.
