Looping Through the Valley of Fruit, Wine and Fluffy Animals Oregon's Hood River Fruit Loop by Kyla Merwin Cheney
Sample pears, eat apples, sip wine, swig cider, and nibble cherry pie. Pet a baby alpaca, pick lavender, and buy socks. And do it all in one day, by car or bike, on the Hood River Fruit Loop. Driving along the country roads of the Hood River Valley, you'll see Mt. Hood rising (11,239 feet) in the background with the Columbia River cutting through the nearby Gorge. I've highlighted some of my favorite spots, but you can download the FREE Fruit Loop map and set your agenda.
