Go High or Go Home!

Sisters to Santiam

Five Pine Lodge Winter

Go high or go home!

That's my motto for this quiet week between Christmas and New Year's. With our recent, unseasonably warm, winter weather, you have to head for the hills to have a white anything. With the turning of the year just ahead of us, this is the perfect time to set the standard for an adventurous 2012. In that spirit, we've rounded up a selection of favorite hot spots for cool holiday fun, starting with three spectacular choices in Sisters, Oregon, and then heading west on Highway 20/126 to Santiam Pass, with stops at Black Butte Ranch, Camp Sherman, Suttle Lake and Hoodoo Ski area.
