The Infinity Loop
 The Mt. Hood National Forest stretches from the Columbia River Gorge south some 60 miles and encompasses over a million acres of forested mountains, lakes and streams. Some of the most popular destinations, advises from the Forest Service, include Timberline Lodge, Lost Lake, Trillium Lake, Timothy Lake, Rock Creek Reservoir and portions of the Old Oregon Trail, including Barlow Road. The Infinity Loop, part of which spans 175 miles from Troutdale to The Dalles to Government Camp, and from Government Camp back to Troutdale.
