Four teenage girls, a three-bedroom cabin, two golden retrievers, and one bathroom. This is our weekend at Crescent Lake. It's really quiet here this time of year, the "shoulder" season of autumn. Good News for cyclists, as well as the folks in Southern Oregon, particularly in the Crescent Lake area: Adventure Cycling has added Crescent Lake to the very cool Sierra Cascades Cycling Route.

Traveling the length of the country from the Canadian border at Sumas, Washington to the Mexican border at Tecate, this bike route roughly parallels the Pacifc Crest Trail. Oregon highlights include the Columbia River Gorge, Crater Lake, Sisters and now Crescent Lake. READ MORE & SEE MAP HERE
