Featured Event: Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival
| Clackamas River, Estacada
May 15-16
The
Northwest Rafter's Association looks to gather boaters together for a
rip-roaring good time doing what they all love to do. Events include kayak, raft and wooden boat slalom races, clinics of all sorts, a cataraft rodeo, Dutch oven cooking contest, and the adreniline-charged Big Air Ramp Comp for kayakers, who will be - no kidding - throwing
mid-air tricks and aiming to land upright in the water. Crazy fun!

Featured Recipes: S'Mores & Homemade Marshmallows
| To help celebrate the May 1st opening of Oregon campgrounds, we're reviving two very popular recipes: Banana-caramel S'mores with homemade marshmallows.
Molten caramel, creamy chocolate and sweet banana combine in this gooey and delicious s'more. The soft homemade marshmallows make it even more delectable!
