Road Trip: North Umpqua
Toketee Falls
We start with wine tasting in the Library, mixing and mingling with other happy guests and nibbling on small bites from Tate & Tate Catering. Lush blooms of pink and yellow and red surround us in every direction. The North Umpqua River flows in chalky emerald swirls just beyond the gardens. Soon we will gather at the long table for a lively, gourmet meal, each course paired with an elegant wine from Penner-Ash Cellars. Where are we? Find out here.

Featured Recipe: Grilled Rib-eye Steaks
Rib eye

We found this amazing recipe for grilled rib-eye from Oregon chef Stu Stein of the Peerless Restaurant in Ashland.
Though a bit complex for camping, it can certainly knock off your guests' socks, or pare down the roasted veggies and it's a snap.
Click here for the complete recipe.
