There are two ways to go places in the snow: motorized or not. Other than sitting it out and snoozing by the fire, most people fall into one of these two camps when it comes to snow recreation:
1. Snowmobilers
2. Not Snowmobilers

"Not Snowmobilers" includes snowshoers and Nordic skiers, which includes telemarking, cross-country skiing and skate skiing. All of them hard work, but exhilarating in their own ways, and very, very quiet.

Cross Country Skiers: Travel freshly-groomed trails under a full Central Oregon moon! The event includes trail patrol for a safe adventure and "DDD" at the resort: Dinner, dessert and drinks, as well as a snow-cat ride back to civilization. Grab your best buddies and headlights, grooming starts at 4 pm.
