New Kelowna Visitors' Guide Now Available The Official 2012 Kelowna and Area Visitors' Guide is ready to service potential and current visitors. The guide is available at Visitor Centres throughout Western Canada and Washington State. The guide is also available on the Tourism Kelowna website. You can view, zoom and "print page" or download the entire guide by going to www.tourismkelowna.com/visitor/guide "The Visitors' Guide is Tourism Kelowna's primary servicing tool for information requests by consumers," says Nancy Cameron, CEO of Tourism Kelowna. "It provides our visitors with a complete representation of the Central Okanagan's tourism offerings, listings and easy-to-find details about the incredible depth and diversity of the tourism experience available in the Kelowna area." Guides can be picked up at the Visitor Info Centre at 544 Harvey Avenue between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am and 3 pm Saturday and Sunday. Applications Invited for 2012 Green Business Awards
If you think your company has what it takes to be a green leader in our community, participate in this year's 4th annual Green Business Awards!
The Green Business Awards, a partnership between SIFE Okanagan and the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, were created to recognize businesses and organizations in the Central Okanagan which successfully operate with environmentally sustainable practices. The Awards provide a platform in which local sustainability leaders can compete to receive feedback and visibility for their actions. The business case for sustainability is both environmentally and financially driven.
Application deadline is Friday, February 10th. Finalists will celebrated at a luncheon in April.

Attention Exporters:
Information on Certificates of Origin Available from Westbank Chamber of Commerce
Certificates of Origin are shipping documents that are sometimes required when exporting goods to certain countries. Often, these documents need to be certified. Determining whether a Certificate of Origin is necessary or not is the exporter's responsibility, however, the Westbank & District Chamber of Commerce can provide its seal to certify that the information provided is correct according to the accompanying documentation.
This service is free to Westbank Chamber members, and available for $20 including HST to non-members.
To take advantage of this service you must have:
- Two signed original copies with pertaining invoices
- A copy of your business license

Accelerate Okanagan Accepting Applications for entrepreneurship@AO
Accelerate Okanagan is accepting applications for entrepreneurship@AO, a comprehensive 12-month program designed to support and nurture early-stage technology companies from product concept to market entry, created in partnership with BCIC.
entrepreneurship@AO is one of six entrepreneurship@ programs developed by BCIC to launch and grow new, sustainable technology companies in BC.
In its first year, the program will provide support for up to 15 successful applicants. Deadline to apply is February 15th.
