Greetings!
The smell of Fall is in the air!! I don't know about you, but I love to see the leaves change color, being creative with apples in my meals and enjoying those beautiful fall days! It gets to be crazy with the kids back in school, work, athletic events and trying to find a little time for yourself! It gets hard to fit it all in, especially when it comes to taking care of ourselves!
With breast cancer awareness I wanted to give you some information that will inform you about aluminum free deodorant! I also found this great recipe that is easy and will help you get rid of some apples!

Deodrants Toxic?!
Are you Toxic? During our daily morning routines its only habit that we apply our deoterant. Take the time to look at the main active ingredient in the deoterant you are now using....I bet there is a good chance that the active ingredient is aluminum. Antiperspirant contains aluminum salts. Deodorants do not. By shopping for the product, you've already seen that the majority of the products sold today have both attributes in their formulas.
Antiperspirants containing aluminum, work to stop completely perspiration from occurring. Deodorants do not contain aluminum. Deodorants allow perspiration. They work to kill the bacteria that causes odor when we perspire. From a purely natural standpoint, it makes more sense for us to use deodorants, as it is clearly a more natural process to allow our bodies to sweat.
A Salad For The Season!
Fall is a great time of year! The leaves are changing colors, the apple trees are ready, and many outdoor activities are taking place! We all have crazy schedules with work and running the kids to school and after school activities. So when it comes to putting a meal on the table we want quick and easy. Not all the time is quick and easy the healthy route. We have a great recipe that will leave you and your family satisfied!

1/2 cup walnuts halves
1/2 cup non-fat yogurt
2 tablespoons minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 lemon, zest finley grated
Freshly ground black pepper
2 large crisp apples, such as Gala
2 ribs celery sliced into 1/2-inch-thick pieces(leaves chopped)

Spread the nuts on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool and break the nuts up into small pieces.
Whisk the yogurt, mayonnaise, parsley, honey, and lemon zest in a large bowl and season generously with pepper.
Halve, core, and cut the apples into 3/4-inch pieces, leaving the skin intact. Add the apples, celery and raisins to the bowl, and sprinkle with the lemon juice; then toss with the dressing.
Cover and refrigerate in not serving immediately.
When ready to serve, toss walnuts into the salad. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a large platter, or divide them among 4 salad plates. Place the salad on the lettuce and serve.
