Greetings!
To our snowbirds, I would like to thank you for returning to The Rotary Club of Naples every year. We are lucky that you bless us with your presence each and every week while you are in town. You are a part of our club!
To acknowledge this fact, The Rotary Club of Naples created a "snowbird application", which is new for the 2011-2012 Rotary year. By filling out a snowbird application, you provide us with your contact information, both here in Naples and up north, in a standardized way. Your contact information will be entered into our database, which also means it will appear in our snowbird directory. Plus, you will receive our eBulletin via email, as well as other email blasts we send out from time to time.
There is no cost to become a snowbird member; all you have to do is complete a snowbird application. Please see our Snowbird Chair, Lisa McCarthy, or our Club Secretary, Mia Delk, for more details. Thank you Lisa and Mia for your dedicated service to our club's snowbirds!
As a snowbird, I hope that you will take an active role in our club while you are with us. You are welcome to join any committee that interests you.
Regarding Grapes & Apes, you and your spouse are welcome to volunteer and serve alongside our yearlong members. If you prefer to attend G&A as a guest, you are welcome to purchase tickets and do so. Hopefully you can invite several of your friends to join you! By selling tickets, bidding on silent auction items, and spreading the word about G&A, you are helping our club!
If there is ever anything that I can do for you, please ask. I'm thrilled that you are with us!
Yours in Rotary Service,
Frank

Grapes & Apes
- Frank Fontana and Nicki Huber are working hard on our volunteer management system. Expect to hear from Nicki soon to determine your shirt size. Each volunteer will be asked to take a quick walk through of the venue early next month so you are familiar with the geography of the zones. Additionally, task specific training will take place for each volunteer to help you excel at your assignment.

In 1996, a committee of Rotary Foundation Trustees considered opening an educational center, institute, or university dedicated to Paul Harris on the 50th anniversary of his death. The committee ultimately recommended the creation of Paul Harris Centers for International Studies at universities worldwide, where fellows would obtain graduate degrees in international relations, conflict resolution, and peace studies.
