Have More Fun... Volunteer!

Greetings!

As you have probably noticed by now, these weekly eBulletins are organized according to the Five Avenues of Service, which is also how we organize everything we do as a Rotary club:

  • Club Service:  Helps the club to function successfully.
  • Community Service:  Improves the quality of life for those who live locally near the club.
  • International Service:  Advances international understanding, goodwill, and peace and improves the quality of life for those who live worldwide.
  • New Generations Service:  Targets programs designed to benefit youth and young adults.
  • Vocational Service:  Promotes ethics in business and recognizes the worth of all professions.

Under each Avenue of Service in this week's eBulletin, we have listed all of our service projects.  Click on the project's name (it's a hyperlink) and you will be taken to that section of our club's website.  There you may read more information about that project.  Please take your time and explore our variety of projects.  At our luncheon on July 27, Rich Ahrens will give us a 5-minute demo to show how the eBulletin interacts with the website.

Hopefully several projects interest you.  For those projects, please contact the directors and project chairs responsible (click on the leader's name to send an email).  The project leaders will let you know how you can become involved.

Keep in mind that EVERYONE in our club will help out with Grapes and Apes.

You get as much out of Rotary as you put into it.  Whether you are here for networking, service, or fellowship, you will find that the more you volunteer the more fun you will have!

Yours in Rotary Service,

Frank
