Greetings!
There have been some exciting things taking place around the NeighborWorks® Rochester offices since the start of the year. We hosted our 2010 Annual Meeting, added two additional employees to our team, received a $30,000 donation from the Realtors Charitable Foundation and even found time to do some ice skating.
We hope you're still enjoying the look of our new Web site. We're working around the clock to update new pages and add additional information, so be sure and check back often. If you haven't checked it out yet, what are you waiting for? Click here.
Your input is always valued. If you have any questions or comments, drop us a line at nwinfo@nwrochester.org.

2010 Annual Meeting
On Wednesday, Jan. 27, NeighborWorks® Rochester hosted the 2010

event and CEO Kim Brumber did an excellent
job presenting on our 2009 Accomplishments and 2010 Goals. We also presented a few special awards to our staff, partners and volunteers.
To give you a glimpse at what the 2009 year looked like for NeighborWorks®

created 73 new homeowners; representing over $5 million being reinvested
into city neighborhoods
- Issued
522 Certificates of Completion to participants in our homeownership classes
- Completed
51 home improvement loans and grants in the amount of $959,313
Our Healthy Blocks program also saw great success in the
2009 year:
- Developed
Healthy Blocks projects in which neighborhood residents and volunteers
gave over 587 hours participating in activities that improved the physical
conditions of their neighborhoods
- Reinvested
over $99,081 in our three Healthy Blocks neighborhoods through home
improvement loans
- Developed
partnerships with the University
of Rochester
and St. John
Fisher College
Below are some pictures from the event. Thank you to everyone who came out to
celebrate our 2009 year of growth!
