Meditation from the Mat

When you relinquish then you expand.

In asana and meditation practice we have the opportunity to cultivate a sustained attention that we will be able to bring into our everyday lives.  First we have to develop that sustained attention on the mat or on the cushion.  How is this accomplished?  What do we have to do?  The fist step is always the same.  We have to show up.  We put the mat down, and we place our feet upon it.  We set the timer, then sit our butts on the cushion.  The second step is even simpler: we let go.

no 12:10pm, 4:15pm or 7:30pm classes

Join the WordFest team and instructor Colleen O'Brien for a playful, high energy Yoga Jam fundraiser to support Book Buddies, a program that provides students from designated high-needs schools with the opportunity to participate in fun and thought-provoking events that inspire a lifelong love of reading.

SATTVAMornings will start with a dynamic Sattva Sequence designed to open the body and energetic channels creating the perfect foundation for the mind to rest.
In the afternoons Rameen will teach the Sattva Yoga Meditation technique allowing you to connect with the authentic experience of the self and the process of realizing your full potential.
