Golden Flower Podcast

New episode just posted: Kundalini and Pop Culture. Evolution has allowed us to dominate our planet. To do this, we needed raw emotional power, a type of behavioral nature that could not be deterred by any threat to our survival. Immediate survival was the role of the Reptilian brain that psychologists and anthropologists often talk about. Once on the road to dominance, a Mammalian brain was added. This evolutionary adjustment added an emotional component - a capability that allowed our species to develop a strong sense of identity based on simple emotions such as, surprise, fear, anger, sadness, joy and more developed emotions like, remorse, awe, pride, optimism, shame, guilt, love. In an ever-decreasing world, are emotions a luxury? Will the human being of the future let his emotions govern his decisions? Find out how Pop Culture forecasts the evolution of our beings...

Golden Flower Forum
Life Force Books announces the creation of the Golden Flower Forum, a place for exchanging Kundalini and meditation experiences.
Readers frequently ask me about the experiences of other practitioners. Questions range from method to progress to timeline, covering such
matters as diaphragmatic deep breathing and the intricacies of the
backward-flowing method.
Questions like: "WIll I make it?"
to "Am I there?" to "Am I breathing correctly?" For obvious reasons I
don't share personal information with third parties. But help is on the
way - in the form of the Golden Flower Forum. It's time to share and share alike.
I will moderate to the best of my ability; I will comment; I
will provoke. However, forums thrive on content, perish for the lack of
it. For the moment it's just a skeleton. For it to flourish, we must
have content. That means your contributions, your questions, your
discoveries on topics/techniques/discoveries/frustrations related to
your Kundalini experience. Start your own topic or thread.
Forums are tough to get going, tougher to sustain. Without
your input I'll have to drop it and go back to peddling my analog
wares.
Nevertheless, I'm optimistic; from the volume of inquiries already received,
I believe it will work.
Hopefully, this blog can stimulate a carefully-phrased
exchange of personal experiences and a discussion of GFM techniques. I
encourage those who have contacted me directly to share
their experiences and thoughts. Experiences, because they are the heart
of the matter; thoughts, because there are surely ways of improving the
process of activating Kundalini in a safe and reliable manner.
Is there someone out there who's stumbled across a new technique and wants to share it? Here's the place; now's the time.

| About Life Force Books authors
Topics covered in Life Force Books publications are ecstatic states of creativity, the future of human nature in a Kundalini-aware world, original ideas for overcoming addiction, and meditation and neuroplasticity.
JJ Semple's books address "the universality of man's spiritual achievements" including techniques and procedures for stimulating neuroplastic activity. In his latest book, The Backward-Flowing Method: The Secret of Life and Death Semple explains how sexual sublimation (redirecting distilled seminal fluid) leads to better mental and physical health and prolongs life.
What is the backward-flowing method? "The short answer is the secret of life and death. The long answer is a safe, permanent way of awakening Kundalini," says JJ Semple.
His previous book, the critically acclaimed Deciphering the Golden Flower One Secret at a Time, told the story of his Kundalini awakening. Now, in The Backward-Flowing Method, he examines the meditation techniques that led to his awakening. Most misunderstood of all is the backward-flowing method, a technique so secret the ancients took an oath never to reveal it. He traces its origins to The Tibetan Book of the Dead and The Secret of the Golden Flower.
Author Neil Sinclair's poems are examples of the creativity unleashed by a Kundalini awakening. After undergoing a profound awakening as a student in 1973, Sinclair suddenly felt compelled to write. Inexplicably, words came to him and he wrote them down, almost as if a higher power were dictating them.
"Sudden acquisition of faculties like channeling, prescience, received knowledge, and extraordinary cognition are hallmark effects of Kundalini," says Sinclair. In his new book, The Spirit Flies Free: The Kundalini Poems, Sinclair's inspired creativity explores a variety of subject matter.
"Not only do his poems plumb the depths of spiritual enlightenment, they encompass the entirety of human experience, from politics to love, from current events to psychology. What's more, they're witty and fun," says publisher JJ Semple. |

Who is Neil Bethell Sinclair?
Neil Bethell Sinclair is the author of The Spirit Flies Free: The Kundalini Poems, 2008, Life Force Books (available at Amazon.com). After spending the summer of 1973 working in Yosemite Natl. Park, Neil Sinclair attended UC Berkeley in the fall as a freshman. Through a series of accidental circumstances, he wound up living in a fraternity briefly where, during a Halloween Party, he underwent a neurological transformation that he came later to understand as the full activation of the Kundalini. The overwhelming force of Kundalini activation transformed his brain and psyche into that of a poet, a mystic, and a visionary. "The transformation took many years and resulted in various psychic abilities," says Sinclair. In India, Kundalini is known as the source of life force energy that resides at the base of the spine, but is dormant in most people. Indian tradition, both Hindu and Buddhist, hold that the practice of yoga and meditation can cause it rise up the spine to the brain. In 1988, Sinclair ran for the US Congress. In 1989, he entered the solar energy business, where he became involved in the development of the electric car, participating in the development of a new type of electric motor and working as a consultant on advanced transportation methods. In 1998, Sinclair went to work for CyberTran International, a company at the forefront in development a new type of automated light rail system. Today, he is Chairman and CEO of CyberTran International. The Spirit Flies Free: The Kundalini Poems is his first book. Life Force Books Amazon store...

A clinical study of Kundalini~Life Force, as told by Henry Miller, as lived by Holden Caulfield Read what critic Araminta Matthews had to say about JJ Semple's first book:
"When I think of memoirs, I am often bored by
the thought of reading the machinations of some person's mundane
existence. I imagine the story to be amateurish, over-written, and
esoteric. Couple that memoir with a critical commentary on a [in]famous
philosophical treatise from Chinese spirituality and I expected a
full-on yawn-fest. Instead, I was met with a frank, enlightening foray
into the depths of The Secret of the Golden Flower from the perspective of a real person, flaws and all. JJ Semple's Deciphering the Golden Flower One Secret at a Time is
truly a phenomenon unto itself. This book uses one person's real life
to extrapolate the intricacies of The Golden Flower, from pre-discovery
to post-discovery, and it is quite a ride.
"At the same time as encompassing the
spiritual element, Semple's book also masters the craft of writing and
entertainment. He has mastered dialogue in its creative nonfiction
element and brought alive through voice the characters of his memories.
In addition, his writing is constantly hand-carved - in no instance
does it feel over-written or flowery, as though he has kept his
language on a leash close to his hip.
"I recommend this book to everyone. Truly,
this is the best book I've read in a long time, both in terms of
practical application of spiritual practice and market entertainment.
This book is a riveting experience." by Arminta Matthews, June 20, 2008

Says JJ Semple, "When I was 7, I suffered an accident; a long splinter became lodged in my foot, shutting down vital growth energy to various parts of my body. "The splinter shut down a vital nexus in my nervous system, denying growth energy to that whole synaptic neural circuit. You see, each part of the body is governed by a specific area of the brain. If either the part of the brain or its corresponding body part is damaged, the related part also suffers. "Eventually, I found a meditation method that revitalized my brain from the inside-out. A system for triggering the autonomic self-healing mechanisms of the body - Kundalini. I have practiced the method for 40 years. It's called GFM, and it's named after that masterpiece of Chinese alchemy, The Secret of the Golden Flower, the book many adepts recognize as the Buddha's own meditation system, a system that Gopi Krishna, the 20th Century's great elucidator of Kundalini, described as 'containing unmistakable hints about the sublimation process'."
