| Greetings!
This month we had the opportunity to listen to a very informational webinar presented by Onvia.
Between the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Cash for Clunkers and the upcoming Jobs for the Main Street Act, the Government sector is becoming a market place hard to ignore. More and more businesses are focusing their growth efforts on doing business with the Government... and for good reasons: Government spending is now at its highest levels since World War II.

GSA and Government Contracting: The Dreaded Regulations
Introduction. If you think reading about government contracting is painful, just imagine writing about it. Yet, this stuff is important. So bear with me!
What are Regulations? This is the "red tape" we love so well. There are many different regulations. You should be aware of all regulations that relate to your proposal or potential contract. States and local governments also have regulations. Regulations don't seem very important until you get into trouble, and then it's too late. I know what you are thinking... this is a big pain! Right! No doubt about it, but it is what you need to do to protect yourself.
