United Performing Arts Fund News
UPAF is very proud to announce that more than $7.6 million will be allocated to 15 Member Groups and 17 Affiliates in the coming year. Collectively, these funds will have a significant impact on the sustainability of the performing arts and ensure that individuals and families in our region continue to have access to, and be inspired by, some of the best theater, dance and music our country has to offer. This achievement has been made possible through the incredibly generous support of 21,000 donors to the 2012 UPAF Campaign.
October not only brings a change in seasons, but also new faces at UPAF. We are pleased to welcome Natalie Glumm as senior director of development, Jessica Ventura as development coordinator and Laura Schnicke as office administrator. Congratulations to Christine Culver on her recent promotion to the new role of director of strategic partnerships. While difficult to do, we say farewell to Jeannie Jackson, director of development, who will embark on a new adventure as annual giving coordinator at Aurora Healthcare.
A standing ovation to the 15 organizations leading fall UPAF Campaigns. We are grateful for your commitment to a vibrant performing arts community. You are making a difference in the lives of many.
So, have you recently seen a performance? If so, we welcome your thoughts on the review/comment section for each of our Member Groups on our redesigned website at www.upaf.org. Be sure to check out all the upcoming entertainment offerings listed in UPAF's performance calendar.
Have an inspired month, and see you at the show!
Sincerely,
Deanna L. Tillisch
UPAF President & CEO
