25 - Mile starts at 8:15 A.M.

DATES TO KNOW
4.8.12 to 6.2.12 - Individual Registration (Online registration will close at Saturday at 2 P.M.
5.29.12 to 6.2.12 - In-Person Registration at Marcus Center 11:30 A.M. - 6 P.M. (Saturday, June 2nd - 10 P.M.. - 2 P.M.)
6.3.12 - UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite (Registration opens at 6 A.M. at the South Gate of the Summerfest Grounds)

This year's Ride will include three routes (25, 50 and 75-mile routes) that will head over the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge.

PARKING & DIRECTIONS

Parking Options
Summerfest Grounds
Limited parking will be available on the Summerfest Grounds in Lot P and Lot H. Click here for a map. Please enter the lots by taking 794 Eastbound to N. Jackson Street then take a left onto N. Jefferson Street followed by another left onto Erie Street. Additionally, downtown street parking is free on Sundays. Please plan accordingly to make sure you have enough time to find parking and get to the Start Line.
In order to park in Lot P or Lot H, enter via Erie Street as Polk Street and Harbor Drive will be closed on the day of the Ride.
Italian Conference Center & CPS
Both the Italian Conference Center and a Central Parking System (CPS) location will offer day of parking for $5. The participating CPS lot is located at 202 N. Jackson Street, Milwaukee, WI, 53202. Enter the Italian Conference Center Parking Lot off of Jackson Street.
Day of Ride Road Closures
- Harbor Drive will close to cars at 5:30 A.M. from Michigan Street to Polk Street.
- Chicago Street will close from Harbor Drive to Jackson Street at 5:30 A.M.
- Polk Street will close at Erie Street at 5:30 A.M.
- The Hoan Bridge will close at Michigan Street at the North and Oklahoma Avenue at the South from 5:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M.
- Lincoln Memorial Drive will close heading southbound at Michigan Street from 5:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M

START LINE / FINISH LINE

New Location
The Start and Finish Lines Will Be Separate
This year all routes begin just north of the South Gate Entrance. Pace cars will lead each route. Bike Marshals will guide riders through the routes and sentries will direct traffic at corners. The Finish Line is located at Polk Street and Harbor Drive.

Now at the Briggs & Stratton Stage
Get Ready to Have Some Fun!
 The Finish Line Party is moving to the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard Stage on the Summerfest Grounds. Join us after the Ride for live entertainment. This year, musical acts will include the LoveMonkeys, the Briggs Bluesbusters and Substitute. In addition, stop by the Children's Area and take part in an assortment of activities provided by Ride sponsors. Activities include an instrument petting zoo, jugglers, clowns, jesters, face painters and Kohl's Cares: The Great Safety Adventure.
The Lineup Briggs Bluesbusters - 9 A.M to 11 A.M. Substitute - 11 A.M. to 1 P.M Love Monkeys - 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.

Located at the South Gate Entrance
If you register the day of the Ride your T-shirts is picked up after the Ride.
Day of registration will open at 6 A.M. at the South Gate Ticket Office of the Summerfest Grounds (Polk Street and Harbor Drive). Once registered you will receive your bib for the ride. The color of the bib designates your chosen route. You will not receive your Ride t-shirt until after the Ride. You can pick up your t-shirt just inside of South Gate Entrance to your right on your way to the Finish Line Party.

Since 1981, the UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite has been UPAF's annual signature fundraising event to benefit the United Performing Arts Fund and the 36 performing arts groups it supports in southeast Wisconsin. It is a critical component of UPAF's long term strategy, nurturing new donors, volunteers and audience members for the performing arts through a fun and entertaining bike event. Last year's Ride raised nearly $550,000 and included nearly 7,000 riders. Since its inception in 1981, 263,000 ride participants, thousands of volunteers and hundreds of sponsors have helped raise $7.3 million for UPAF.
