CAPTAINS' CORNER
| |
We would like to once again thank all of our wonderful Team Captains for their hard work and dedication:
Thank you to those of you who gave us feedback on your experience on the 2011 Ride. We have listened to what you said and we are making changes to improve the Ride in 2012. One of these changes is that we will no longer be having a Team Captains' Night at the Zen Den in downtown Milwaukee. Due to low attendance numbers and your feedback, we are working on better ways to help you retain, recruit, and energize riders. The "Captains' Corner"section of Ride On! will contain information for you to help you do just that. Every month, you can look forward to reading success stories and advice from some of our most seasoned captains as well as general tips on ways to engage your team.
When you take the initiative to rally your friends, family, and coworkers, you help ensure that the Ride for the Arts is a success. In 2011, your leadership helped increase ridership to nearly 7,000 riders in 2011 and helped us raise a gross revenue of over $500,000.
Interested in starting a new team? All it takes is two people! Visit upafride.org for more information on how to start a team.
