UPAF's Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, is this Sunday. In-person registration runs until Saturday, June 4 between noon and 6 p.m. at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Enter at 929 N. Water Street and head to the south coat check area on the first floor. The easiest way to register is online at upafride.org. Online registration ends at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.
Day of registration (Sunday, June 5) will take place from 6 a.m. until 9 a.m. at Mid-Gate of the Summerfest Grounds. However, the registration price will increase from $40 to $50 for adults on the day of the Ride. Also, the family rate will increase from $100 to $105.

Packet/t-shirt pick-up information

T-shirts and packets are now available for pick-up at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Enter at 929 N. Water Street and pick-up will take place in the south coat check area on the first floor between noon - 6 p.m.
On the day of the Ride, bibs will be picked up before the Ride while packets and t-shirts will be available after the Ride at the UPAF booth at the Finish Line Party between the hours of 9 a.m and 3 p.m.

Car parking/bike port information for Ride day
| | Due to construction on Summerfest's south end, car parking will be available on the day of the Ride, Sunday, June 5, at the Italian Community Center for a discounted rate of $5 and at the CPS Lake Lot with entrances on Clybourn Street or Van Buren Street (also for $5). Additionally, downtown street parking is free on Sundays.
Harbor Drive will close to cars at 5:30 a.m. from Michigan Street to Polk Street. Chicago Street will close to cars from Harbor Drive to Jackson Street at 5:30 a.m.
Park and lock your bike at the complimentary Bike Port. To maximize bike security, locks are recommended. Riders can retrieve their bikes at any time throughout the Finish Line Party. The Bike Port will close at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 5. |

Route maps for UPAF's Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, are available here. Some of the routes have changed from years past so make sure to check out this year's maps.
All routes start and end at the Summerfest Grounds. Here are the start times for each route: 75-mile (HOAN): 7:00 a.m., 50-mile (HOAN): 7:00 a.m., 25-mile (HOAN): 8:00 a.m., 25-mile: 8:15 a.m., 12-mile: 8:30 a.m., 5-mile: 9:00 a.m.

The Ride is the just the beginning

After you finish the Ride on Sunday, head over to the Finish Line Party at the Potawatomi Stage. From 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m., there will be performances from UPAF beneficiary groups. The LoveMonkeys will perform from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Also during the Finish Line Party, families can also take part in children's activities such as an instrument petting zoo, jugglers, clowns, jesters, face painters and vendor booths. Kohl's Department Stores, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the Home Safety Council have teamed up to present: Kohl's Cares: The Great Safety Adventure. The tour will be on hand at the Finish Line Party to teach children and their families about ways they can reduce accidental injury in their homes in five important home safety areas: falls, poisoning, fires and burns, choking and suffocation and drowning. | The Ride kicks off Bike to Work Week | | |
UPAF's Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, kicks off the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin's Bike to Work Week which runs from Monday, June 6 until Friday, June 10. For a list of events in the Milwaukee area, click here.
