DO NOT SWEAT, IT IS JUST SUMMER
|
In the next two decades experts say rising sea levels will sweat California even more. For now, summer also brings heatstroke and fires. We recommend preparing and taking necessary precautions from both.
Caring for the elderly is a responsibility. Shura Council invites the community to avail S.N.A.P that stands for Specific Needs Awareness Planning - a voluntary disaster registry to deal with emergencies. SNAP allows emergency personnel to find people who may need additional assistance in a disaster. It saves lives of those who have a permanent or temporary disability or anyone who need extra help in times of emergencies. If you know of anyone in your family, friends or neighbors, please help them by introducing to SNAP registry. Always remember the Quranic principle - saving one life is like saving all of humanity.
