Shura Council congratulates the Islamic Center of Riverside for convening last week, their annual program Challenges and Contributions of Muslims. Representatives from CAIR, Muslim American Society, Access and Shura Council made presentations. Representing Shura Council, Br. Kalim Farooki, Treasurer of the Shura Council emphasized that for Masajid to become effective and relevant they must embrace modern organizational and management skills that are rooted in Islamic values. He also highlighted the Shura Council developed good governance program and invited the Masajid leadership and Imams to avail it.
