It is with great sadness that we announce the demise of Shaikh Muhammad Dakhil, patriarch of the Dakhil family. He passed away from natural causes in Libya early this morning.
"May Allah bless our dear respected elder Shaikh Muhammad Dakhil and give him the place in Jannah. His loving and kind personality and his caring and compassionate style will be missed not only by his family but by many of us who knew him and loved him. He was a man of vision and worked very hard for the cause of Islam in Southern California and elsewhere. On behalf of the Shura Council of Southern California, we convey our sincere condolences to his family and pray to Allah to grant them patience." said Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi, Chairman of the Shura Council.
The family will receive condolences on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Masjid Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, 1025 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles 90007.
