OPEN MOSQUE DAY
Finally, Open Mosque Day is here ... Shura Council welcomes fellow Southern Californians to more than 20 participating Mosques across Southern California. We are happy to offer the following suggestions to make your visit (to the Mosque) more enjoyable. If you have any specific question or need additional information, please feel free to call (714.239.6473) or email (info@shuracouncil.org).
Click here to decide on the Mosque that you wish to visit. Make sure to check the visitation hours as they change from Mosque to Mosque on that day.
The Open Mosque Day is not a formal event. You are welcome to wear comfortable clothes. Full sleeve shirts and long pants recommended.
As a sign or respect and cleanliness Muslims do not wear shoes inside the Mosques. Expect to take your shoes off before entering into the sanctuary.
The Open Mosque Day is a family event. Feel free to bring along yours or your neighbor's children of all ages.
Visitors are welcome to bring along cameras to capture your memories.
If you are planning to visit with a large group (congregation or students), we suggest you call the Mosque or call us (714.239.6473) for appropriate arrangements.
If you like to visit the Mosque once again feel free to ask the organizers.
After you visit a Mosque if you have ideas to make the event more beneficial or enjoyable, do please let us know at info@shuracouncil.org.
