SUPPORT RACIAL JUSTICE ACT & CHARITY GIVING

Multi-Ethnic hands holding earth
Shura Council endorses the California Racial Justice Act (SB1331) that would ensure that no one is sentenced to die in California because of race or ethnicity. Not all death sentences are imposed on the gravity of the crime; race and ethnicity play a big role. Shura Council has joined other faiths and social justice groups in endorsing the racial justice act and urges you to also support equal justice for all people.

Shura Council joined other organizations in calling upon President Obama to honor his near one year old promise of easing hurdles in giving charity to all worthy causes. To read the memo click here.
