Roots and local organic gardener Ingrid Wheeler are very excited to offer the community a series of organic gardening workshops! 
 
Workshop Topics
basic overview of organic gardening, garden planning, compost, preparing healthy soil, choosing fertilizers, tips on how to have a low maintenance organic garden and much more! 
 
Local Speaker: Ingrid Wheeler 
 Ingrid Wheeler lives in the woods between Fitchburg and Ashby. She is a lifelong organic gardener, environmentalist, and conservationist. She's operated "Ingrid's Cosmic Gardens" since 2001. She is an active member of Northeast Organic Farmers' Association (NOFA); Accredited Organic Landcare Professional. She teaches classes and workshops for garden clubs, after-school programs,Fitchburg Art Museum, Nofa's conferences, and homeschool garden groups.
