Military Safety Program
BMW Motorrad USA has continued this promotion to help America's servicemen and women ride more safely. Active-duty military personnel who purchase a new BMW S 1000 RR will receive a free safety package, including Race ABS and Dynamic Traction Control worth $1,480 from BMW Motorrad USA.

What a great year it's been here at BMWVC! Thanks to all of our fabulous customers and friends, we have weathered the storm of this economic turmoil the world is going through and are stronger for it!
We still have some exciting things planned for the remainder of this calendar year and hope that you will have the opportunity to join us for some if not all of them. Coming up in October on the 15th we will be having our 6th annual Fall Open House which is shaping up to be a huge event, with representatives from 17 vendors and the BMW Demo Truck filled with New K1600's! We still have our monthly rides and a BMWVC class at Rawhyde Adventures in November. This month I will be attending Rawhyde's Adventure Riders Challenge in Moab, Utah and look forward to seeing many of you there.
Something new that we started in the August newsletter is a photo contest. It was a great hit, and we will be having this contest on a continuing basis. Below is the August 2011 Winner, congratulations to Joe Finn on a beautiful picture and on winning the BMWVC Hat and $50 gift card. You can see a higher resolution version of the picture on facebook or in our website gallery. Look for this months contest information below!

Fall Open House
and Demo Days

Come and join us at our 6th Annual Fall Open House. On October 15th 2011 we will open our doors and spill out into the parking lot with reps from AGV, Bill Mayer Saddles, California Highway Patrol, Dunlop Tires, Galfer Brakes, Giant Loop, Givi, Klim, Max Moto (Remus), Odyssey Batteries, Olympia Motosports, Parts Unlimited, Ride on Tire sealant, Schuberth NA, Shad, Sidi, Tucker Rocky and Western Powersports.
We will have our traditional Bratwursts and Sauerkraut and 100% Organic Pizza from Pizza Salad!
Andrea the Masseuse will be on location.
The BMW Motorrad Demo Truck will be on site filled with 2012 K1600GT and GTL's! Demo rides are first come first served so get here early to guarantee a chance to ride! Please bring appropriate riding gear.
Finally, yes there will be door prize drawings throughout the day, and you must be present to win! We have prizes from BMW Apparel, Touratech, Galfer, Olympia, Scorpion, Gerbings, Adventure Medical, and more being added every day!
There will be open house specials announced shortly before the event so check our facebook page and website often!

October Dual Sport Ride |  | |
Join Howard Rantz on his BMWVC Dual Sport Ride Saturday, October 22nd.
Meet at the shop for Donuts and Coffee at 8 am and rider meeting. Kickstands up at 9 am. Look for ride updates like weather conditions on our Facebook page or call the day before the ride. Riders registered for the ride will receive updates via email.

It must have a BMW motorcycle in it, it must be a picture you took and have the legal right to publish and it must be in
good taste. One entry per person and the previous month's winner is not eligible, sorry but we have to keep it fair.
By submitting a picture you are giving BMW Motorcycles of Ventura County permission to publish it on our website, facebook page and newsletter free of any payment, except for the winner which will be entitled to the prize as indicated above.
