December Dirt Ride |  | |
Join Howard Rantz on his BMWVC Dirt Ride, Saturday December 18th. This trip will be a bit on the mild side but is sure to be a great day with some great scenery.
Meet at the shop for Donuts and Coffee at 8am and rider meeting. Kickstands up at 9am. Look for ride updates like weather conditions on our Facebook page or call the day before the ride. Riders registered for the ride will receive updates via email.

Dear  ,
The holiday and shopping season is now upon us. It is pretty amazing how quickly this year has gone. This has been a better year for BMW Motorcycles of Ventura County. Supported by BMW, we have seen some new models introduced, the G450 and the S1000RR to name two. We had two great open houses this year bringing the BMW Demo Truck to each of the events. We had some great rides this year, and started our camping series which was a huge success (thank you Cameron) allowing our customers to experience motorcycle camping, several for the first time.
Looking ahead to 2011 we have more new models from BMW coming. The K1600 which will be introduced at the Long Beach Motorcycle Show starting on December 17th, along with the F800R coming to our showroom in early 2011. Next year should prove to be an even better year for motorcycling than 2010.
More importantly, our overall economy seems to be improving. While not a very robust recovery, we are beginning to see the signs of a recovery from the terrible downturn we all experienced in 2008. I am cautiously optimistic that we will see continued improvement in employment, as well as consumer spending, which will continue to help the economy expand and grow. Hopefully we will also see our elected representatives address the deficits currently facing us all.
In closing, I want to wish everyone a joyous holiday season and a prosperous new year in 2011. I also want to thank you all for your continued support of BMW Motorcycles of Ventura County. It is our customers that we serve each day that allow us to continue, and all of us at BMWVC thank you for that support.

Military Safety Program
BMW Motorrad USA has launched a promotion to help America's servicemen and women ride more safely: active-duty military personnel who purchase a new BMW S 1000 RR from Aug. 19, 2010 until Dec. 31, 2010, will receive a free safety package, including Race ABS and Dynamic Traction Control worth $1,480 from BMW Motorrad USA.
