| Street Ride - March 20th |

Join us on Saturday the 20th as Craig Leonard will be leading our monthly street ride. Craig will have a great ride planned which usually has everyone back at the shop around 3:00 pm. Meet at the shop at 7:30 am with kickstands up at 8:00 am. Watch for an update the week prior to the ride or check our Facebook page for additional updates as we get closer to the ride date. |

March Madness  - Open House - March 27th
I hope everyone had a great February. We did at BMW Motorcycles of Ventura County, with two new models hitting our showroom, the S1000 RR and G450X. Surprisingly, the G450X sold out in the first 10 days, but we just received another one, so stop by and take a look.
March is always a crazy month, and this is no exception. This month has the NCAA beginning the Division I Men's Championship tournament with 65 teams competing in this single elimination tournament for the National Championship. Did you know, that this tournament began in 1939 and was the brainchild of Phogg Allen (what a great name), coach of the Kansas Jayhawks. But, the NCAA didn't get involved until the next year when it took over the running of the tournament. Originally starting with 64 teams, in 2001 a "play in" game was added and a 65th team played the next lowest seeded team. This opening game has been played at the University of Dayton Areana in Dayton, Ohio since its inception in 2001.
So between picking the winning team and those lucky squares in the office pool, mark your calendar for March 27th, our Spring Open House. We will have the BMW Demo Truck on site again this spring with all the latest models to test out, including the new RT's, GS's, and the S1000RR. Those of you that have been at one of our open houses in the past know it gets a little crazy. As always, demo rides are limited (only so many bikes, and so little time), so be sure to come early. Sign up's begin on Saturday morning at 8 am and will be "first come, first served". We will also have a number of vendors on site with special merchandise, and some good buying opportunities. Lunch is on us, so come hungry! We will send out a detailed update a few days prior to the event, so make sure you check your email box.

This year RawHyde's Adventure Rider Challenge is going to have a special component, the chance to represent BMW's "Team USA" at the 2010 GS Trophy Challenge to be held in South Africa later this year. This is an exciting event and a unique opportunity to not only have some fun, but to earn a spot to compete in a world wide challenge! The GS Trophy event is held every two years. In 2008 the event took place in Tunisa, and in 2010, the team will travel to South Africa. Do you have what it takes to make the team? Now is your chance to find out. To be eligible to be part of the GS Trophy Challenge selection, you must enter the Adventure Rider Challenge in order to compete for the the GS Trophy.
