It's unbelieveable that June is just around the corner and that we're already looking into the last Quarter for dates of forthcoming attractions...
A big attraction this weekend will be the official USA unveiling of the BMW S1000RR Suberbike at the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, during WSBK races. Scroll down to catch all the action on this exciting event.
 We had an EXCELLENT turnout and interest for Simon & Lisa Thomas's 2RideTheWorld presentation on the 20th; thank you to all who attended and I trust you enjoyed sharing their company, photographs and experiences.
This month we are welcoming lone-rider Annette Birkmann, an extraordinary woman with a unique approach to travel & adventure, and we're delighted that she is willing to share her photos and adventures with us. Read more below and mark your calendars for Thursday July 18th.

The BMW Sales Support Program ends on June 2nd. Several customers have already taken advantage of the LOW interest rates or the $500-$1500 in BMW Accessories; if you're on the fence about purchasing then perhaps this program will sweeten the pot for you - just do so before June-2.

We've modified the Dual-Sport Adventure Ride Series slightly so that it will suit both new and experienced GS riders alike - starting with the July-11 ride the series will become a MINI-SERIES of 3-4 rides of increasing challenge, repeating itself every few months so that newer riders can conveniently jump on and grow with the series. The next DS-Ride is SATURDAY JUNE 6 - click HERE for details.
Craig, leader of our Monthly Street Ride, would like to know what interest there is, if any, in holding an overnight ride with 8-10 riders to somewhere in the mountains? If you think an overnighter would be appealing, click HERE to email Craig with your support or suggestions. The BMWVC Street Rides are held every 3rd Saturday of the month - next ride June-20.

On May 31, 2009, the World Superbike action starts right here at home at Miller Motorsport Park in Tooele, UT. Catch all the action of the upcoming WSBK at our home turf at Miller, featuring BMW Motorrad Motorsport racers Ruben Xaus and Troy Corser on the SpeedTV channel. Speed will be showing both race 1 and 2 (with a repeat showing for race 2). Don't miss a moment of BMW's historic and exiting entry in the world's most important motorcycle race.

An idea needs to flow
To flow, it needs fuel...
That fuel is inspiration and motivation
Equipped with 10 words of Spanish and two licences, one to practise law, the other to ride a motorcycle, Annette Birkmann went to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to learn how to repair motorcycles and to make a dream come true: to ride alone through South America on a motorcycle.
The journey amounted to 33,000 miles, a wider behind (her description, not mine!), and several derailments which have provided Annette with an unshakable belief in passion and commitment as the forces which transform ideas into reality. Everything begins and ends with yourself - including all the fun stuff!
It delights us to present Annette Birkmann, an extraordinary woman with a unique approach to travel and adventure, and look forward to sharing her adventures and photographs on Thursday, July 18th, at 7:30 pm. Light snacks and drinks will be served. There will be a $10 admission for the presentation, all of which will be donated back to Annette.
