New for 2009, we are planning a regular Technical Workshop session, every 4th Thursday of the month, open to any of our customers who are interested in learning more about the technical aspects of their motorcycle. From riders who wish to share their technical experience, to new owners who, in their excitement of owning a new bike, may have forgotten some of the basic operational details given to them by the sales team up front at delivery and could do with an "operational refresher"; everyone is welcome.

Ladies, while of course welcome you to every session, we are planning the Feb-26th workshop to be a ladies-only event, where we'll address the issues you raised in the Ladies Survey last year.

Refreshments and snacks will be served.

Gather around Howard's workstation at 5.30pm, and have him answer your questions or show you the inner workings of your bike. There are no stupid questions, and hopefully he'll only have intelligent answers! Everyone has a version of their "Ultimate Ride" in their imagination, and the Great Divide Ride certainly ranks right up there as one of the best. This, our third year of the ride, we plan to navigate the route anti-clockwise, LA-Mex-Can-LA. Also, by leaving a few weeks later than past rides, and taking in the mountanous sections at the end, we hope to avoid the large snow drifts we had to portage over last year.

Limited to 12 customers, each rider will possess the riding skills necessary to undertake a fairly grueling off-road ride. Camp support will be in the form of a purpose-built BMW Offroad Academy vehicle, transporting the driver and chef, who will welcome us at each camp and provide the high quality food & refreshments we've become accustomed to on these rides! The truck will also be available to carry your camping gear from site to site, and is able to provide a short hot water shower at the few unimproved campsites.
