The first Ventura County Adventure Ride Series, the immensely successful BMWVC-sponsored series of GS-oriented adventure rides and instruction days, has come to a close. The results have been spectacular: Graded fire roads may have seemed significantly challenging during DSR 01, yet many were riding with confidence in deep riverbed sand well before the series was over. Several VCARS riders completed the Great Divide Ride this year.
Join us at the dealership on the evening of Thursday, September 25 at 6.30pm for the first annual VCARS celebration. All VCARS vets are encouraged to come enjoy refreshments, catch up with riding buddies, and tell tall tales. If you're new to your GS, this is your opportunity to hear first-hand accounts from last-year's survivors (ahem!) and find out more about what we have planned next. Ride leader Laine MacTague of EarthRider will speak about how the upcoming ride series will be structured and what it will have to offer. Come enjoy good food and good company. Furthermore, if you rode in the Series this year, you will be in the slideshow!
