Robert MartellacciDear Thought Leader,

On behalf of the MindShare Learning Report team, I would like to wish you the very best for 2009. May your hopes and dreams be surpassed while keeping the learning curve steep throughout the year. During these "challenging economic times," as my young son Michael reminded me recently, we need to be mindful of our contribution in preparing our 21st Century learners for a future that cannot be clearly seen.

We are extremely humbled by the tremendous support and feedback we have received this past year since launching the MindShare Learning Report last March.

"There is no better publication out there for consumers/educators/innovators in the Canadian education technology space than the MindShare Learning Report.  The depth, accuracy and complete coverage of "hot" topics and innovation in the education space is second to none.  I would highly recommend any professional, educator or administrator to get on this mailing."

As Canada's premier learning technology eMagazine, our mission at the MindShare Learning Report is to continue to bring you the most current, concise and relevant news that will enhance your ability to support innovation and student achievement, whether you're an educator, or industry leader.

2009 promises to be a transformational year for the MindShare Learning Report team as we will be launching a number of enhanced services--watch for our CIO virtual Round Table Webinar coming this March. We're looking forward to engaging you further in the MindShare Learning community through our first national MindShare Learning EdTech industry leadership conference later this year. And finally, a Cross Canada Check-up feature will become part of our monthly eMagazine, where we check-in with provincial and territory education and industry leaders to get a pulse for current trends, opportunities and challenges across our vast Canada learning landscape.

I would be remised if I didn't extend my sincere appreciation to our esteemed advisory board and sponsors, in particular those who supported the HP MindShare Learning 21st Century Interactive Classroom Contest. We look forward to sharing the final winning video submission with you later this month. Be sure to watch for our next MindShare Learning Report issue coming your way on Wednesday, January 21, 2009.

In closing, this is about you--make it your New Year's resolution to stay actively connected to the MindShare Learning Network by sharing your success stories, news and best practice research as we strive to lead Canada into the 21st Century global Learning revolution.

Thank you for continuing to inspire our team with your kind words of support. May our passion help drive your success for 2009!
