Interim Housing

Ohio University will offer interim housing on campus beginning Tuesday, November 22, 2011 through Saturday, December 31, 2011. Reservations are required and can be made by going to the Residential Housing website and clicking the Apply Online button and selecting the "Interim / Temporary Housing" application. This application will be open beginning November 1, 2011.

Ohio University has partnered with local restaurants and retailers to offer weekly discounts to the University community via text messaging. To participate, text OHIO to 78601.

Quarters to Semesters Transition

OHIO will transition from quarters to semesters (Q2S) next fall. For questions and for more information, please visit the Q2S website.

I hope you're doing well, and enjoying Fall Quarter.

Thank you to the students who attended my September and October Open Office Hours. I really appreciated having the opportunity to meet with you. My final Open Office Hours for Fall Quarter will take place on:

  • Wednesday, November 2 from 10:00 AM to 12 NOON
Our office is located in Cutler Hall 212. I invite you to stop by and share what is on your mind. If you are unable to visit me during my Open Office Hours, I am happy to meet with you at any time. You may schedule an appointment by calling our office at 740-593-2580.

I want to remind you that Election Day is Tuesday, November 8, 2011.  Don't forget to cast your vote!  If you plan to vote in Athens and need a letter verifying your eligibility, please contact our office no later than Monday, November 7, 2011.  For more information about voting in Athens, click here.
