Welcome home! We hope that your second week on campus is off to a great start. I can't tell you how great it is to have all of you here; the energy and excitement has shone through, despite the weather. As we kick-off the new academic year, I encourage all of you to get involved! There is something for everyone on our campus, and I hope that you will take the time to reach out and find ways to become engaged on campus. To learn more about campus opportunities, please stop by the Campus Involvement Center located at 355 Baker University Center. I also want to take a minute to remind you that you are now part of the Athens community. Please be sure to be responsible citizens. We hope that you will be considerate neighbors to everyone living in the Athens Community, both on and off campus. I also ask that you help keep our city and campus clean by ensuring your trash is disposed of properly and helping to pick-up litter when you see it. I hold Open Office Hours several times each quarter as a way for students, faculty, and staff to share their ideas and concerns. My Open Office Hours for Fall Quarter are: - Friday, September 16th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
- Monday, October 3rd from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
My office is located in Cutler Hall 212, and I encourage you to stop by and share what is on your mind. If you are unable to visit during my Open Office Hours, I am happy to meet with you at any time. You may schedule an appointment by calling our office at 740-593-2580, or by calling or texting me at 740-818-8700. Best wishes for a great Fall Quarter. I hope to see you at the football game, OHIO vs. Marshall, this Saturday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m. Please stop and say hello! If there is anything I, or any member of the Student Affairs team, can do to help you succeed here at OHIO, please do not hesitate to contact us.
