Journeys Way Lodge will hold classes on the Sacred
Shahaptian Healing Way ( Sha Way ) of the Nemenhah tradition once a month
starting on
Wednesday September, 10th from 7 p.m. to 9
p.m. at Journeys Wisdom conference room located in the lower level. Lesson 1 will consist of an introduction of the
Nemenhah Medicine
Wheel as well as a guided
meditation and discussion of the Medicine
Bundle.
You are invited to search your heart, and if it is right,
choose to come.
Rosa Bell will lead this discussion.

Great Council of the Nemenhah
The Great Councils are the
general representative assembly for the Nemenah Band as a whole.
Whereas the General Councils are focused on the needs of the Nemenhah in
a given region, the Great Council make decisions that will reach all Nemenhah
everywhere. These are administrative decisions that will affect
the sacred walk and sacred talk of all the people at once.

Holistic Book
Club
 The Holistic Book Club is hosted by Rosa Bell.
Our next meeting will be on
Tuesday September, 16th from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
This club will meet once a month to discuss books selected by the group
that are non-fiction and holistic or personal development in nature. The intent
of the group is to meet with people who are interested in having dialogue about
the selected books in an open, non-judgmental and friendly environment.
*The book which we selected - "The
Divine Matrix Bridging Time, Space, Miracles, and Belief" by Gregg
Braden.
If you were not able to make it to the last meeting just
bring yourself to the next one and be prepared to discuss the selected book for
September.

invited to the Itsipi ceremony. This is a mixed Sweat. Every
participant should bring firewood, love offering and one dish to share
for the potluck afterwards. Please bring towels, change of clothing,
gallon of water and blanket for sitting. Bring all your emotional hurts
that you are ready to release. This is a time for prayer, healing and
learning!
