| Monthly Business Forum slated for this week |  The Monthly Business Forum, formerly named CEO Chat, is scheduled for Wednesday morning, January 11 at 8:30 am. This monthly opportunity to meet with President/CEO Jennifer Wesselhoff and discuss your business concerns and questions has been revamped for this year. This month's topic is "Resaurants."
Each month, the Business Forum will now focus on a single topic of importance, or a business sector. Any member is welcome to attend and participate in the discussions. The goal of the Forums is to bring the ideas, opinions, concerns and viewpoints of the Chamber's members to the attention of the Chamber's Administration. You presence and participation is how the Forums will prove to be successful.

Sedona Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 8:30 - 10:30 am at Los Abrigados Resort & Spa. The meeting will include a continental style breakfast, presentations on the Sedona Chamber of Commerce accomplishments for 2011 and goals for 2012. Followed by reports from our Affinity groups, and Mr. Jim Rounds of Elliot Pollack & Company as keynote speaker who will provide an economic outlook for 2012. | 2012 Networking Mixer Dates Still Available |  Dates for hosting a Networking Mixer are being snatched up quickly, but a few dates are still remaining and available. Each month, the Chamber presents a Networking Mixer on the fourth Thursday from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Each event is held at a different member location venue. Hosting a Mixer is an excellent way to expose members to your location, services, staff and products. It is a great marketing tool! Available dates remaining for 2012 are Feb. 23, August 25, and the Holiday Mixer on December 6. Information necessary to host a Mixer can be found here, as well as an application. | Reach Los Angeles Based Media
 The Sedona Chamber of Commerce will be traveling to Los Angeles on Monday, January 23, to meet with LA based media outlets and journalists together with other destination CVB's in the state. You can reach them by including your electronic press release on the Chamber's flash drive press kit. For the low cost of $50, your press release will be included with all of the Chamber's information.

KUGO Travel Radio - Grand Canyon Marketing Opportunity | |
The Sedona Chamber of Commerce has partnered with KUGO radio, the only FM radio station that broadcasts at the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas. This radio station delivers travel information only (no music format) and is a great way to remind Grand Canyon visitors that Sedona has so much to offer!
We have developed a co-op advertising package open to two more Tourism Bureau members, where each member gets one minute of a five minute long Sedona segment. This radio campaign will last for six months at a time. The cost to participate is only $150 per month. You can participate for six months, or secure your spot and participate for the full 12 months. Submit Brochures by Friday, February 10

Make sure your business is top-of-mind with Valley residents at the Arizona Highways/AAA Travel Show. The show is scheduled for February 18 and 19, 2012. This year's show will be bigger and better, as two individual travel shows - Arizona Highways Travel Show, and the AAA Travel Show - have now partnered to create the biggest and best travel show of 2012.
Submit up to 100 brochures to the Sedona Chamber of Commerce who will be at the show representing Sedona. The cost is $50 for Tourism Bureau Members. Please bring brochures with payment to the Sedona Chamber Administrative Office at 45 Sunset Drive, attention Michelle Conway. Sedona Marathon Running Clinic

 The Sedona Marathon is pleased to announce that they will be partnering with Team USA Arizona for a "Running Clinic" as part of the 7th Annual Sedona Marathon on February 2at 3:30 pm at Sedona Red Rock High School. There are twelve members of the current Team USA Arizona and seven have qualified for the 2012 Olympic trials! The clinic activities will include stretches, drills and working with individuals on their gait. After the clinic there will also be a VIP Cocktail Reception at the marathon host property Amara Resort and Spa from 5:30-7:00 pm, to give participants the opportunity to personally mingle and have photos taken with potential Olympians.
The cost of the Sedona Marathon Team USA Running Clinic is $25 for adults, $15 for kids 16 and under. The VIP Reception at Amara Resort and Spa is also $25. Proceeds Benefit Team USA Arizona. Email info@sedonachamber.com or call 800-288-7336.
