Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa is pleased to announce Marilu Jimenez, Executive Housekeeper, has been named Outstanding Employee of the Year by the Arizona Hotel & Lodging Association. This year, the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa nominated Marilu Jimenez, Executive Housekeeper, for the Housekeeping/ Engineering Employee of the year. Sedona Sunrise Superstar

 

Welcome the New Year and get your tickets now for the Sedona Sunrise Superstar and Rising Star vocal talent competition, sponsored by True Financial Wealth Management Firm LLC, all to raise funds for the Sedona Sunrise Center for Adults. The Sedona Gallery Association is pleased to announce events for the next 1st Friday on January 6. The Sedona Gallery Association represents the collaborative efforts of the premiere galleries in Sedona to ensure that art lovers and artists alike experience the best art environment imaginable.

1st Friday is an amazing event of fine talent, images and entertainment- one of Sedona's "things to see." The Sedona Trolley provides free transportation to venture from art gallery to art gallery. New Year, New Location at Rowe Fine Art Gallery  

 

Happy New Year! Welcome in 2012 during "New Year, New Location" at Rowe Fine Art Gallery on Friday. January 6 from 5:00 - 8:00  pm during the Sedona Gallery Association's 1st Friday Gallery Tour. Rowe Fine Art, which opened in Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in 2010, recently relocated from its upstairs site to a larger space directly under the bell tower at Tlaquepaque. Come enjoy art from the gallery's contemporary and traditional southwestern painters, sculptors and jewelers including Rowe Fine Art's newest additions, Kim Kori, Liam Herbert and Jennifer Inge. 'Take Shelter'

  

Plagued by a series of apocalyptic visions, a young husband and father question whether to shelter his family from a coming storm, or from himself in the new, award-winning drama. "Take Shelter" premieres on Tuesday, January 10 at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Harkins Theatres. Tickets are $12 or $9 for Film Festival members, and will be available starting at 3:00 pm that day in the Harkins lobby. New Year, New Artists at Lanning Gallery 

 

For the "1st Friday Gallery Tour" of the New Year on January 6, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, Lanning Gallery celebrates all that is brand new at the gallery: New artists, new mediums and new works. "Arizona History & Hi-Jinx" at Sedona Heritage Museum

 

The Sedona Heritage Museum presents Michael Peach in a performance of "Arizona History & Hi-Jinx" at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 7 at the Sedona Heritage Museum. Audiences will enjoy award-winning actor and playwright Peach use historical narrative, cowboy poetry, and tongue-in-cheek fun to weave stories of the growing pains of the 'Baby State' and other state and local history. This is original show is a certified official Arizona Centennial event.
