Art Enriches Your Spirit

Let us inspire you...

Dear Industry Friends,

On June 23, 1965, Charlie Dye, John Hampton, Joe Beeler, and George Phippen met at Sedona's Oak Creek Tavern to form Cowboy Artists of America, which would soon become a cultural phenomenon.   Seven years earlier Nassan Gobran and a group of his friends formed the Sedona Arts Center so that artists would have a place to work and teach together.  Both organizations are thriving today along with several dozen galleries that collectively represent outstanding world-class art in every medium. Many galleries also have giclees for sale.

On the First Friday of every month, members of the Sedona Gallery Association stay open late so that art lovers can visit and shop in their galleries while enjoying artist openings, receptions and informational programs.  A shuttle takes gallery guests from location to location!

Sedona has several juried art shows that bring artists and art aficionados from all over the country - the Sedona Arts Festival and the Annual Sedona Plein Air Festival are two of the largest.  In addition there are many regional exhibits and demonstrations and workshops throughout the year.  Sedona is home to hundreds of artists, many of international renown, who draw inspiration from Sedona's beauty and culture.

Please let the Sedona Chamber of Commerce Tourism Bureau assist you with information, itinerary ideas, and in obtaining rates and information from Sedona businesses.

We look forward to welcoming you and your clients to Sedona, Arizona.  Let us inspire you...
