Opportunity for Sedona Restaurants

Regional Chamber Mixer

Blazin' M Ranch, Tuesday, July 26

The Sedona Chamber is partnering once again with Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Jerome and Clarkdale Chambers for a Regional Mixer. Last year's Mixer brought more than 450 people together to meet, greet, and sample the tastes of restaurants from all over the valley; even more are expected to attend this year.

Would your restaurant like the chance to reach people from all over the region? We are seeking restaurateurs who would like to participate in this exciting event and serve as 'food hosts'. Contact David Keeber at 204-1123 for more information.

Visitor Center Experience

Calling all Artists, Musicians, Performers!

Chamber Members can now create a "Visitor Center Experience" at the uptown Visitor Center by presenting their art to visitors as they enter the building! And rent the A-Frame to announce the dates and times!

Recently, artist Christine Debrosky spent the day painting and engaging with visitors. She says the day was a success. With more than 1,000 visitors each day at the Visitor Center, there is plenty of opportunity to meet new customers!

The Tourism Bureau of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce has launched an intensive marketing campaign to drive Summer visitor traffic to Sedona.  This exciting effort targets our drive markets of the Phoenix Valley and Southern California, as well as Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and Chicago.  The themes include Family Friendly Fun Ideas and ways to Beat the Heat.  The campaign is geared largely towards the Internet and includes a Facebook sweepstakes, Pay Per Click technology, advanced targeting video display banners, mobile display banners, e-mail marketing and SMS text marketing.

Grand Canyon marketing efforts include a new partnership with the Grand Canyon Journal annual guide with presence in their direct mail, website, and e-newsletters.  This, too, has been our focus in an effort to draw as much attention to Sedona during our Summer months.

We will also be launching a new mobile version of VisitSedona.com soon - watch for the announcement!

Feel free to contact Michelle Conway at the Chamber with any questions about what the Tourism Bureau is doing to market Sedona as a premiere destination and for information on how to join the Tourism Bureau. (928) 204-1123.
