HEAD OF SCHOOL'S MESSAGE
Gleeful About MaccaGlee!
Dear VTT Community, After every Hanukkah concert, I hesitate to sound like a broken record, but I never believe it's possible to top what's been produced. Lucky for all of us, I have once again been proved wrong! MaccaGlee is deservedly receiving rave reviews. The script, the music, the choreography, the effects and, most importantly, the spirit exceeded even my high expectations. Kudos to Rabbi Matthew Bellas and Keri Smith for the inventive lyrics and creative script. Special thanks to drama specialist Ms. Smith and musical specialist Ms. Chobotiuk for the theatrical and musical direction. Sincere acknowledgment to our faculty and staff who showed tremendous flexibility to accommodate rehearsal schedules and the many details that accompany a production of this magnitude. And I am truly proud of the 400 students who brought much nakhes to the parents, grandparents and friends in the audience. Staff member Geoffery Kehrig visually documented the show. To see his photos, click on the following links: Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Band, Choir, Staff Dance.

SCHOOL NEWS
FLASHBACK FRIDAY: Don't forget to email the faces you recognize this week to alumni@talmudtorah.com. It's the 1978-79 Grade 7 class.

This year's Grade 2 Sock Drive yielded 350 pairs of new socks to help the needy. Yesterday, Mrs. Sara Ciacci, representing Jewish Women International, came to our school to pick up the socks. Grade 2 students were very happy and proud to fulfill this wonderful Mitzvah.

VTT's very own Tammy Kalvari belts out her unique rendition of "Fame" at last Thursday's staff holiday party. The intimate gathering at Maple Grill featured a catered dinner and entertaining karaoke, courtesy of Lito Sacuoza.
Thirty preschool families enjoyed flapjacks and syrup, arts & crafts and Sportball at the Annual Preschool Pancake Breakfast in early December. Special thanks to all the Grade 7 volunteers who eagerly flipped and poured to make the morning special for our new families.
Hand-painted dreidels "sevivonim" by Grade 2 students.
