CroisiEurope Danube Cruise River 2010

VIvaldi OutsideEuroWorld Holidays, Ltd. is proud to announce the successful completion of our recent Danube River cruise fam from November 13-19. The above group portrait was taken on November 17 in Bratislava during a guided walking tour of the Slovakian capital.

The trip started in Vienna on November 13 with lunch at Cafe Central and a city walking tour sponsored by the Vienna Tourist Office. The next day, the group got a private tour of Schonnbrunn Palace, lunch at the famous Griechenbeisl Restaurant while inspecting several hotels in the afternoon that were selected by our local ground agent, Welcome Touristic Vienna. These hotels were specifically selected by Welcome, as they fit our 8 leisure travel buyer's client profiles for location and budget.

FYI, the new Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof and the Hilton Vienna Plaza were kind enough to offer overnights at their properties in Vienna for our fam group. Plus, everyone got a chance to meet Ms. Ursula Deutsch who is the General Secretary of the Danube River Tourism Commission.

The first class river cruise on CroisiEurope's newest ship, the MS Vivaldi, was our home on the water from November 14-18 on a Vienna-Budapest-Bratislava-Vienna roundtrip. As expected, we were treated like VIP's on the French-owned and operated ship. The Strasbourg-based river cruise line has been a valued partner with EuroWorld Holidays since 2002.  We have worked together on over 35
happy groups through the years and proof of success in the travel industry is the amount of repeat business you get.

Our all-too-brief stop in Budapest (less than 24 hours total) began with a half day city tour in the morning before going back to the ship for lunch. The group visited the Hungarian Parliament and Hero's Square in Pest, as well as, Fisherman's Bastian in Buda. Our motorcoach drove along the main streets of both cities as we discovered the buildings and architecture that are unique to this wonderful Eastern European destination.

In the afternoon, our local ground agent, Welcome Touristic Budapest, showed us several hotels that, again, fit our leisure group buyer's budgets. After some shopping time in Buda and at the Public Market in Pest, Welcome hosted our group at the famous Cafe Gerbaud for cakes and coffee. The end of this busy but productive day ended by sailing through Budapest at night to enjoy the lights and the sights.

Our final day in Vienna was totally free for our participants to enjoy the many important museums with special exhibits, the Spanish Riding School, the Christmas Markets, the cafes and the beautiful architecture. That evening, we enjoyed a classical music concert at the Kursalon Concert Hall that was sponsored by Welcome Touristic Vienna and the Kursalon.

For those who had originally expressed interest in this fam, we are sorry that you could not join us. Fortunately, all our spots were filled by wonderful people who will now be important future clients of EuroWorld Holidays, Ltd. and our expert European partners. Perhaps, there will be other fam occasions that we will offer in the future, or you can ask our recent participants yourselves about their memorable experiences on this program. In any event, we would love to talk with you about your future group programs to continental Europe.

New Cruise Lines for EuroWorld Holidays

Dusseldorf
Part of the job description of "cruise broker" is to always be on the lookout for new products that will satisfy your leisure group and charter clients. Many European river cruise lines want to be prominent in the U.S. market but few of them are able to properly accommodate Americans. Price is a key factor but so is having the experience, the hospitality instincts and the expertise that it takes to welcome and service our clients properly. My job is to make that determination.

I believe that my recent trip to Dusseldorf to meet with various European river cruise lines and inspect several of their ships will prove successful in adding to our product line. Arrangements for representation are now being finalized with the owner of 2 superior tourist class/1st class ships, as well as, with one of the largest river cruise lines in Europe. Their fleet consists of 16 ships in the 3-5 star category. More opportunities are always on the horizon. Stay tuned.

Bank Travel Club Partnering
  PARTIAL GROUP MOVEMENTSEiffel Tower
For those bank travel club directors who have lost their group numbers over the years, often to shrewd, unethical marketing practices from your so-called partners, we have an answer. Let us work with you to create customized European land programs and affordable river cruise products while matching your group with other like-minded banks with similar destination priorities. Why subject your European travelers to the fate of being a few strangers among so many passengers that they are unfamiliar with? An exclusive program that is shared with 1-2 other banks ensures that your travelers will be taken care of properly by our European river cruise and land partner experts. When your travelers return home and give your bank travel club director glowing accounts of their special customized trip, quite possibly, your own numbers may grow enough for exclusive European programs of your own. Let's talk about it.
