Blog Entry -June 29, 2009
It's Double Duty Week :D

on the roadGood Morning!

I am writing this from the cozy home of our friends the Suarez's ... in the awesome AC.  Did I mention we like the AC?  We've had some great meals and fantastic fellowship as we've made our way to the north eastern corner of TN, and God has proven Himself faithful each step of the way.

Our band of merry men is growing, too!  We've added two neat teens to our trip (friends from the NW) and they have brought along with them a new sense of fun and adventure.  I keep saying that this little 27 foot RV is beginning to look a little like an ark with all the hands hanging out the windows!

We received a care package in the mail yesterday from dear friends in VANCOUVER....

SteveA WORD FROM STEVE LAMBERT
Regarding the break in of the St. John RV on Fathers Day 2009...  (written just hours after the break in.)

I've been on the phone with Jay and Heidi several times in the past two hours. They are understandably shaken and discouraged. Jane and I are regular monthly supporters of FCHM through their egiving program, as well as through specific gifts during times of special need.

I am angry at the enemy and our hearts ache for Jay and Heidi- and for the children who were understandably shaken by their experience.

Tonight, I sent a special financial gift, over and above our regular monthly gift instantly to their paypal account: info@fchm.org (That's the NAME of their deductible paypal account)

Most of you have, absolutely NO IDEA of the financial pressures Jay and Heidi were under BEFORE this happened and now is not an appropriate time to tell that story. But let me just say this- IF the Lord lays it on your heart to bless them financially you can do that in two easy ways...

giving1. Send an IMMEDIATE gift via PayPal: info@fchm.org

2. Set up a monthly support program:
http://www.firstclasshomeschool.org/pages/support-fchm.html

(More than 75% of their basic, humble income is derived DIRECTLY from monthly support. FCHM itself is only able to provide approximately 25% of their minimal income needs.)

3. And finally- please pray for Jay, Heidi and the kids. Their hope remains in the Lord, despite the theft of three computers, much of the money they've earned on the road so far this summer, and so many personal items including Savannah and Sierra's purses.

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart,

 Other Ways to Send Support:
If you want to send money to help replace items Jay & Heidi lost, you can either send it to the National Office at FCHM ~ 1400 NE 136th Ave Suite 201, Vancouver, WA 98684 OR FCHM c/o Kvalvik's ~ 3620 SE Sunrise Drive, Camas, WA 98607 and write on the memo line of your check "Stolen Property Replacement Funds" and we will make sure it is used to replace the items that were stolen.

You can also go online and make a donation from the website or through paypal at info@fchm.org as Steve mentioned above.

Thank you to all of you who have made donations already!! We are overwhelmed by your generous and giving hearts!
