United Way Mentor Training Program Serves as a National Model

 At United Way, we believe in the power of mentoring. This year, we are proud to announce the expansion of our successful, free United Way Mentor Training Program that prepares local residents with the communication and problem-solving skills to make a positive and lasting contribution in their communities.

United Way Partners with NY Giants to Collect Healthy Snacks for Kids
|  In January, United Way launched a partnership with the NY Giants, Rock and Wrap It Up!, and Warren County school districts to help students learn how one simple act of charity can help provide nourishment for fellow classmates in need, protect the environment by keeping food out of landfills, and improve their community.

United Way Chili Open Golf Classic
Raises Over $35,000
|  More than 130 golfers travelled to the Sussex County Fairgrounds on Saturday, January 28 to play a round of winter golf and raise money for United Way of Northern New Jersey's work.

One week after celebrating the arrival of 2012, more than 200 hardcore runners from 11 states were ready to brave freezing temperatures for the sheer joy of a mid-winter trail run and to support United Way of Northern New Jersey.
