 Memorial Day Parade hospitality help needed
First Pres will offer hospitality during the Arlington Heights Memorial Day Parade, which steps off at 9:30 am on Monday, May 28. If you can assist with this effort, please contact Arlene Bullerman. Please note: the church office will be closed on Memorial Day. |

Baccalaureate Sunday
Coming up on Sunday, June 3, we will celebrate our graduating high school seniors in the 9:00 am worship service. The graduates and their families are invited to a breakfast before worship, at 8:00 am, in the Parlor. Please RSVP to Lisa Math. |

Register for Vacation Bible School Online registration is now open
"Sky: Everything Is Possible With God" VBS will run July 16-20 from 9:00 am to noon. VBS is open to children 4 years old through those entering fifth grade. Registration per child is $25 through June 30 and $30 July 1-11. The registration fee includes your own set of Bible Buddies, a VBS music CD, and T-shirt - plus an exciting week of activities! Register now.

Prison Ministry toiletries collection
You can make a real difference in the life of an inmate at Dwight Women's Prison. The toiletries you provide are a way to meet the inmates' needs and to let them know that they are not forgotten. The collection bin will be in the Narthex through the end of the month. The following items are needed: Shampoo (16 oz.); toothpaste (4 or 6 oz.); toothbrushes (can be in multipacks); full sized bath bar soap; large sized deodorant (bar or stick only); hotel size toiletries. Did you know you can safely give your offerings through our website? You can access this powerful, secure (SSL) tool right on the Home page at www.fpcah.org. You can make one-time gifts or recurring gifts; select the fund to contribute to (operating expenses, memorial gifts, or special funds); and manage your scheduled giving (e.g., weekly, every two weeks, monthly, etc.), selecting the day of the week for payment and choosing your start and stop dates. You can also choose your payment method (credit, debit, or electronic funds transfer). It's easy to get started. Just click on Online Giving. |
