walk two miles through Hyde Park to raise money for victims of the March 2 tornadoes. The money they raise will support American Red Cross relief efforts.
The walk-a-thon is part of the Upper School's participation in Springer's All School Quest, the theme of which is "Oh, the Things You Can Do That Are Good for You!" The students have three goals for their walk - supporting tornado relief, building good health and preparing themselves for their April trip to Washington, D.C.
Upper School parents will provide refreshment stations along the route. Many thanks to the Kroger Company for its generous donation of water, bananas and granola!
