Greetings!
We're kicking off 2011 with lots of fun and educational activities!
Springer students will welcome both an Artist in Residence and a visiting author in coming weeks. And in February we'll take a moment to celebrate our hard-working students!
Our best wishes for a wonderful new year!

We'll revisit 1971 at the crowning event of our 40th anniversary year - A Springer Celebration! 2011. The evening of dining, cocktails and music from the '70s will be

punctuated with stories of Springer alumni from across four decades. Channel 12 WKRC Sports Director Brad Johansen will bring his energy to a live auction, and items will be available for raffle as well. Many thanks to Springer trustee Kim Vincent for chairing the celebration.
April 27th, 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Great American Ball Park
About A Springer Celebration! |
At Springer I learned... that you can do anything you want to do - just stick with it! I always wanted to be a pilot, and now I am studying at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and flying in acrobatic plane competitions. - 2006 Springer graduate Martin Hollatz |
| Molly Z Returns!
Springer is excited to welcome illustrator Molly Zakrajsek, returning for her second year as Artist in Residence. Last year Molly and a group of Upper School students created the wall mural that has become a signature image for Springer.

This year the students will extend the mural, with a coordinating but different design. During her January 24th to February 4th visit, Molly will speak to all Springer students about the process involved in professional illustration and will work with a group of about 20 students on the mural project.
