Greetings!
Here in Cincinnati, our winter season started with a dusting of first snow on December 7th, magically heralding the holiday and wintertime festivities soon to come. Of course, this time of year also ushers out the first half of Springer's school year - several busy months of students learning how to learn and teachers leading the way, helping students reach their learning potential. Center staff have been sharing the Springer Difference with teachers, parents and professionals around the region. Imagine the possibilities that lie ahead in the New Year for all students, teachers and families because of Springer! Wishing you a wonderful and peaceful holiday.

Springer Receives Grants for Parent Programs The Daniel and Susan Pfau Foundation and the William P. Anderson Foundation have awarded grants to Springer in support of parent programs. The three-year $15,000 grant from the Pfau Foundation will be used to continue Springer's current parent programs in area schools. The $5,000 grant from the Anderson Foundation will enhance the parent programs by offering individualized parent consultations to parents attending programs. Springer's parent outreach programs provide parents with information and strategies that enable them to better support their children's needs at school and at home while demystifying the learning process.
