Springer Commencement - June 3rd, 2009

The evening of June 3, 2009 welcomed 58 new Springer graduates as they symbolically crossed the stage into their new lives outside of Springer.  Board President, Thomas C. Leugers welcomed and congratulated students and parents for the journey they undertook when enrolling at Springer. Executive Director, Shelly Weisbacher, provided an inspirational message to students followed by the presentation of certificates by Mr. Leugers, Mrs. Weisbacher and Jamie Williamson, Springer Principal. This year's Bolan Scholarship Award winner was Natalie Heimbrock, a Springer Intermediate student. The award was presented by Mrs. Weisbacher, Peter M. Bolan, Jr., and Benjamin Shurmer.  Congratulations to all the 2009 graduates!

financial aid and outreach programs!

Basketball legend and Cincinnati businessman, Oscar Robertson, was the evening's guest speaker and 2009 Springer Champion. One of the moving moments
of the evening came when Mr. Robertson's grandson, a Springer student, presented
the Champion award to his grandfather.

Springer would like to thank Oscar
Robertson, Jim Scott, Event Chairs - Caryn Franke, Martha Millett, and Cindy Stephens, Donna Hartman, Andrea Benedic, all the sponsors,
table hosts, donors, FedEx Kinko's,
